Furry Sister's B-day

Our first child, Cinnamon, turned five today!  She is such a patient, gentle and sweet big sister to Nate and Will.  Nate is constantly chasing her and wanting to play and she (mostly) puts up with it like a pro.  We're so very lucky to have her.

With Jurassic World opening this weekend, thought we'd share this extremely rare sighting of the fearsome and seldom-seen Nateosaurus Rex ... it is true that with two little boys, our house DOES often look like dinosaurs just stomped through our living room and kitchen.

Back to the Grindstone

Mommy's maternity leave is now over and today was her first day back to work.  Here are some early morning, pre-work snuggles.  It was a shortened day, so she got to come home early and give us even more cuddles.

Lunch today in Shirlington. No kids, no rushing, no sharing our food -- and then we had the movie theater all to ourselves (Noah Baumbach's excellent While We're Young). Very nice way for me and Matt to celebrate the 15th (!) anniversary of our very first date.
